Rieke Metals is a World Class Lab

Our lab was the first to develop Rieke® metals: highly reactive metals that changed what was possible in chemical synthesis. Rieke® Zinc and Rieke® Magnesium enabled scientists to create reactions not previously seen. After this Rieke Metals brought even more firsts to the table, including:

• Thousands of unique organozinc and specialty Grignard reagents
• Over 30,000 highly functionalized fine chemicals
• Novel functionalized thiophene polymers and monomers, including P3HT, Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) and P3MEEMT, Poly(3-[2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy]methylthiophene-2,5-diyl)
